Did you know?
The term Christmas is short for Christ’s Mass, since the observance was originally centered around the annual mass in honor of His birth. Although the exact date of Christ’s birth is uncertain, Christmas is annually celebrated by most of the world on December 25, with some older Christian sects observing January 6. Although it may have been celebrated prior to the 4th century, Christmas was officially recognized by the Roman Church in AD 354.May God bless you with a wonderful holiday!
